New Center is a church who strives to obey the command of Jesus to teach the Gospel to all nations.  As a church, we place an emphasis on missions and offer opportunities to get involved with mission opportunities. 

Community outreach day

Prayer is powerful.  Simply praying with someone can be a  reminder to them that God loves them.  And on our Community Outreach Day, as a part of Serve NC Mission week, we offered to do just that with hundreds of people!  We handed out Bibles, Gospel Tracts and more, with the message that we were sharing the love of Jesus. We want the WORLD to know that Jesus IS King of kings and Lord of lords!

Hurricane Helene Response

Hurricane Helene devastated many parts of the Southeastern United States  in September 2024.  New Center partnered with Pine Branch Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC to assist with disaster relief.  As a church we transported supplies, and assisted NC Baptist on Mission with tear out and rebuild.  Many experts are projecting upwards to 10 years before Western NC is rebuilt.  Many are still without homes.  The efforts are ongoing, and our prayers are with all those affected by this and other disasters.
